THE NEHEMIAH PROJECT

The HCC Sports Ministry will be crucial in the inner city as it serves as a non-threatening bridge to build relationships, trust, and community in underserved areas. These programs offer safe havens for youth, promote physical and mental health, teach essential life skills, and provide holistic support to families while also creating opportunities for evangelism.

Since moving into our own building in 2017, we have strived to serve everyone, regardless of background, and are proud to be a debt-free, unifying church. IMPACT PROJECTS

We are dedicated to serving our community through various outreach programs, focusing on providing support, education, and opportunities to those in need.

Hope for the Homeless

Hope for the Homeless In an effort to relieve the growing unhoused population in the Acadiana Area, we provide clothing, hot food, and care packages bi-monthly.

DK Golf Academy

Where we grow kids and grow golf. There is no sports program in any of the Lafayette Parish School system that introduces golf. This initiative is to introduce the game of golf to students in the 70501 area.

Feed Family and Friends

Quarterly, our team visits the neighborhood low-income Veezy-McComb housing and gives away hot food and non-perishable items.

Harvest Learning Center

Our mission is to help children grow through academics and the Love of God. This is an afterschool tutoring program. Tutoring children from grades 2-5. We provide hot meals each day. HLC is big on nurturing and loving all of our children.
